John Will Martin

Hello, my name is John Will Martin (John Will), and I am an active performer and a full-time piano instructor based in the Birmingham, Alabama area. Originally from Geraldine, Alabama, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Music with a minor in Psychology from the University of Alabama.

I am passionate about helping students of all ages and experience levels develop their musical skills and confidence at the piano. Throughout my musical journey, I have studied classical, jazz, and gospel piano, giving me experience across a variety of styles and teaching approaches. My lessons are personalized to each student's goals, whether they are just beginning their musical journey or looking to refine their skills and artistry.

I have taught online lessons to students in Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, North Carolina, New Jersey, and in countries including Canada, Uganda, and The United Kingdom.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy staying active at the gym, am a lifelong Star Wars fan, and a theme park junkie. I believe learning piano should be both rewarding and enjoyable, and I look forward to helping students discover the joy of making music.
